On Saturday, it was reported that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner may be facing imminent divorce. The story emerged after fans noted that both of them had been spotted on the town without their wedding rings. But then Jonas appeared with his ring on Sunday night in Texas soon after the divorce reports circulated. He also posted a photo on Instagram with his brothers in which the ring is clearly visible.
Photos from the weekend’s Jonas Brothers concert were taken by @lonelykevinstan on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Jonas can be seen with his ring on while performing on stage at the Moody Center in Austin. He was not wearing his ring during recent stops in Dallas and St. Paul, Minnesota. Turner was also seen at her husband’s concert on August 12 in Bronx, New York, but no shows since.
The couple were married in 2019 after several years together, and now share two daughters. They are allegedly going through “serious problems,” and have been for the last six months, according to TMZ. The 34-year-old pop star has supposedly met with two divorce lawyers in the Los Angeles area. A source told Page Six on Sunday, “Joe is exploring the best options for his future.”
A source close to Jonas said that the insider has been parenting his two children “pretty much all of the time” while on tour. Turner has spent three months this year filming the series Joan. The 27-year-old has also said in the past how she would like to move back to the U.K., though she expressed gratitude for the time she and Jonas have lived in Miami in an interview from 2022 with ELLE.
“I really love living in America,” she said. “But, for my mental health, I have to be around my friends and my family. And also for my daughter – I would love her to get the education and school life that I was so lucky to have.”
She added, “England would ideally be the final destination. But [Joe] might take quite a bit of convincing!”
