Following its infographic focused on the Galaxy Fold family throughout the years, today Samsung has released a similar one showcasing the evolution of its TWS earbuds instead, as the second installment in what is becoming the “Galaxy History” series.

It all started with the Galaxy Buds in 2019. The Galaxy Buds+ then arrived in 2020 with practically the same design and double the battery life. In 2021, Samsung released its first pair of Pro earbuds, as well as the Galaxy Buds2, which looked more like the Buds Pro than the original Buds.

The Galaxy Buds2 Pro were released back in 2022, so the upcoming Galaxy Buds3 have definitely been a very long time coming. These will be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event next week, on July 10, and if recent leaks are accurate, they will mark a total shift in design for Samsung, adopting a stem style just like Apple’s AirPods.

Samsung says its Galaxy Buds series “distinguishes itself from other wireless earbuds available on the market through enhanced sound quality, comfortable fit and a smarter sound experience powered by Galaxy AI”.

As for the next generation, Samsung promises to change “the listening experience by delivering earbuds with comfortable wearability that produce quality sound and expand connectivity”. The new Galaxy Buds will “continue to serve as a friendly medium”, “allowing users to enter a new world of sound every time they wear their earbuds”.
