Can you believe it’s already August? Summer has been flying by at breakneck speed—and yet! It’s not going fast enough, as far as I’m concerned. I’m in one of the many areas of the country that’s been stuck in the 90s (the temperature, not the decade) for weeks on end, and I am over it. I was over it before it started, to be honest, and I am beyond ready for it to be fall. So ready, in fact, that I might take a cue from Selena Gomez and attempt to summon the new season with some traditionally autumn-esque nail polish.
Gomez posted a nailfie (are we still saying “nailfie”?) on Instagram on Thursday afternoon, and it’s conjuring up all of the cooler-weather feels. Her left hand rests on a cream-colored, perhaps cashmere pair of sweater pants, giving us a perfect contrast to show off her pumpkin-spicy manicure.
