We’ve all been there. You’re at the nail salon, either standing in front of the wall o’ nail polish, rifling through the keychain-like plastic swatches, or perusing the book of shades (you know you’re in a really fancy salon when they’ve got a rococo hardcover catalog of nail polish samples), and you’re immobilized with ambivalence. How are you supposed to pick one color? Technically, you can do a different color on each nail if you really wanted to, but what if your soul is drawing you to more than 10 hues? (Hey, it happens.) Well, Halle Bailey has a brilliantly bold and beautiful suggestion for the indecisive among us.

The singer and actor shared a supercute post on her Instagram in which she’s showing off her adorable Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Petite bag. But make sure you swipe to the second photo, which is far more manicure-centric than the first.

She clearly loves the extra-pale blue shade of the bag, but that clearly wasn’t what she was feeling for her nails. Instead, she went with not only a different color for each nail, but a different color combination for each nail.

On the hand closest to the camera, we see that her pinky features shades of pink and green, her ring finger is purple and blue, her middle finger sticks with purple and blue but adds fuchsia, and her pointer finger is host to shades of beige. The ethereal, abstract, tie-dye-esque effect somehow makes them really work together instead of clash.
