Xiaomi launched the Civi 4 Pro as the first phone with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and Leica-branded cameras. The phone is a huge upgrade over the midrange nature of its predecessors and has proven to be a huge success among fans in China.

The company revealed it shipped 200% more devices in the first 10 minutes of the flash sale, compared with the entire first sale day of Civi 3.

The Civi 4 Pro arrived with a 6.55” AMOLED with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top and two 32 MP front-facing cameras behind a pill-shaped cutout. The triple cameras on the back are 50 MP main + 50 MP portrait with 2x optical zoom + 12 MP ultra-wide-angle – all very potent options for what is now a premium device.

The Civi 4 Pro launched with three memory combinations and no less than seven color options. The starting price was CNY2,999 ($415/€380) but we don’t know yet whether the phone will make it outside China, with or without a Lite moniker.
