Motorola is working on an Edge 40 Neo in three Pantone colors, according to a recent leak. Today, we learned the phone got certified by the FCC, and the US regulation revealed the battery capacity and charging speed of the midranger.

The QM50 battery will have 5,000 mAh capacity, and support 68W fast charging, as evident from the MC-681N compatible charger. The phone will also have 5G and NFC.

The fast-charging rate is nothing new – it was the same in the predecessor Edge 30 Neo. The capacity is a 25% increase from the previous generation. When we reviewed the Edge 30 Neo, we found it to be pleasantly lightweight, and we can only hope the Edge 40 Neo will not add a lot of weight.

According to previously leaked specs, the screen will be a 6.55” P-OLED with 1080p resolution. The chipset will be Dimensity 1050, and RAM will get up to 12 GB with 256 GB storage. The reported price will be €399 in Europe, which is around $430.
