Couldn’t get too far into February without sharing my picks for cool DIY Valentines day gifts this year. Many of these can be done last minute too, so if you’re a procrastinator, I got you.

Homemade Valentine gifts are so special, imo because the person you give them to will know you put in the extra effort of making something and have been thinking of them long before February 14th.

A classic gift idea! Can’t go wrong with some paper hearts with a surprise inside – candy, kids jewelry, a toy, etc.

I absolutely love these valentine printables – super unique and cool. I am pretty sure that no one else in your kid’s class will have these…but everyone will wonder where they’re from.

I made a wood block car for Hayes and I think it would be a really cute DIY Valentines gift for a preschooler
9. macaroni box cameras DIY from Handmade Charlotte
My son is always taking pictures. He would love these DIY cameras made out of old macaroni boxes. I could see these working as classroom valentines too, if you have the time.
10. I love you ‘berry’ much valentine
If you have a strawberry lover on your hands, check out my clay strawberries tutorial. It’s one of my fave air dry clay projects…probably because I love strawberries so much. Would work well for Valentine’s Day crafting.

This one takes a bit more effort than some of the others, but I think it’s worth it. Making a mosaic gift for Valentine’s Day would be epic.
12. molded crayon Valentine’s Day idea
You could try melting crayons into cute shapes inspired by your child’s interests. A favorite animal, letters, rainbows – they make all kinds of silicones mold that would work for something like this.
13. artsy valentine paint palettes
If you have an artsy kiddo (or friend for that matter), my paint palette DIY is a cute one. And super affordable, since its made with air dry clay.

BUT you could definitely do something similar on a smaller scale with grocery store flowers or even just some greenery around your entryway mirror, etc.
