Realme launched the Realme 10 Pro last November in three colors – Dark Matter, Nebula Blue, and Hyperspace Gold. And a few weeks ago, the company unveiled a limited edition 10 Pro designed in partnership with Coca-Cola, dubbed Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition. We received one from Realme, so let’s see how it’s different from the regular 10 Pro.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition comes in a special package that’s a tad taller than the standard model’s retail box. It drops the black-yellow color scheme for a Coca-Cola-inspired black-red theme and features a cropped Coca-Cola logo, something we also see on the smartphone itself.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition’s retail box reflects light at different angles, and while Realme is advertising the smartphone with the Deluxe Boxset, which includes the actual phone box and Realmeow Coca-Cola Figure, it’s only the phone box that customers will receive upon purchase. The large box and Realmeow Coca-Cola Figure are not for sale and were sent only to the media.

Even then, the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition’s retail package includes some goodies you won’t get with the standard version. For starters, there are 29 Coca-Cola themed DIY stickers, and while these might not be up to everyone’s taste, there is a customized SIM card needle inspired by the Coca-Cola bottle cap, which is way cooler than the ones we usually get with most other smartphones.

Additionally, the package includes a Coca-Cola can-shaped limited number card telling which of the 6,000 globally available Coca-Cola Edition units is in your possession. Ours is number 841.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition’s retail box also comes with the usual set of accessories – a clear protective case, a charging cable, a 33W SuperVOOC power adapter, and some paperwork.

Let’s turn our attention to the phone now. The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition shares the hardawre with the standard version but flaunts a Coca-Cola-inspired design. Its back panel is treated with a “Matte Imitation Coating Process” to provide the “elegant touch of brushed aluminum while remaining resistant to scratches and fingerprints.” The idea is to make the phone feel like a can of Coke when holding it, and we must say that the back cover’s matte finish feels nice and resists fingerprint smudges. And like its box, the Coca-Cola Edition’s rear also reflects light at different angles.

The Coca-Cola Edition’s back panel flaunts what Realme calls the Red & Black Collision: 70/30 Asymmetrical Black Design since 30% of the panel is in black color and 70% in the red. The black strip sports the Realme moniker, while the red area features the cropped Coca-Cola logo. There’s another Coca-Cola logo etched on the smartphone’s right-side frame.

You can also see that the two cameras on the back are surrounded by red-colored rings, giving a nice contrasting look to the limited edition 10 Pro. Realme calls this Camera Lens Halo.

Realme extended the Coca-Cola theme to the phone’s UI. With the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition, you get a Coca-Cola-inspired lock screen displaying Realmeow’s Coke version, with the app icons having a bubble element since they are encircled with a red ring.

The system apps’ icons have been customized by Realme as well. There are 24 of them, although depending on market you may not get the entire set pre-installed. Our unit only came with 19 customized app icons.

It’s worth mentioning that this is achieved through the “Cheers! For Real” theme, which can be found in the Themes menu. It is selected by default, but you can use other themes if you want.

There’s more to the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition’s UI than just customized apps. The smartphone has a bubbling charging animation, mimicking the bubbles in the beverage’s bottles.

It also comes with a new ringtone and notification sounds. The Cola Official Music can be used as a ringtone and a notification sound, whereas the Open Happiness and Cola Bubbles tones are only available as alert tones.

Realme also showed some fizzing love to the camera department since the default camera app on the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition comes with an “80s Cola” Filter accessible through the Street Mode and a new bottle opening camera shutter sound called “Special edition.” It’s enabled by default, so if you prefer the original shutter sound instead, you can switch by heading to the default camera app’s Settings > Shutter sound menu.

We are glad that Realme customized the UI of the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition and didn’t pull another GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition (hands-on) with it since the GT Neo 3 150W Thor Edition is just the regular GT Neo 3 150W Nitro Blue version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which comes in a special retail package.

The standard Realme 10 Pro has two memory options – 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB, priced in India at INR18,999 ($230/€220) and INR19,999 ($240/€230), respectively. The Coca-Cola Edition comes in a single 8GB/128GB configuration, priced at INR20,999 ($255/€240). If you are looking for a phone that’s a collector’s item, you can consider buying the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition instead of the regular model.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition is currently out of stock on Realme’s official Indian website and Flipkart, which was expected since Realme made only 6,000 of those for selling in markets it operates in, but you can still find it at some mainline stores in India.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition is currently India-exclusive, and we are yet to see it launch elsewhere. But regardless of whether you are planning to buy the limited edition or regular 10 Pro, you might want to read our standard Realme 10 Pro’s detailed review since it has the same hardware as the Coca-Cola Edition.
