Well, if Jennifer Lopez wasn’t already considered one of the sexiest women on earth, she certainly is now. Today, lingerie brand Intimissimi announces Lopez as its official global ambassador, and launches its spring/summer 2023 campaign featuring the star.
In the images—including two that are exclusive to ELLE.com, below—Lopez can be seen lounging in silk and lace underwear from the Italian intimates brand, which she discovered on a trip to the country last year. (And we know Bennifer loves Italy.) She instantly gravitated toward Intimissimi’s romantic designs and flattering cuts, per a press release.
When asked why she wanted to partner with the brand, Lopez told ELLE.com, “I feel an innate connection with Intimissimi. It’s incredibly important to empower women to be the best version of themselves and the brand stands for those same attributes.”
CEO Matteo Veronesi said in a press release that Lopez was the obvious choice to embody the Intimissimi woman, who is strong, confident, and sexy.
“Being comfortable in your own skin and the ability to slip on beautiful lingerie under your wardrobe allows you to feel that more sensual side of yourself,” Lopez says.
The new collection includes a variety of cuts of bras and underwear, as well as robes, pajama sets, and nighties.
As for stand-out pieces, Lopez says she can’t pinpoint a single favorite. “I love the silks,” she says. “The robes and pajamas are so comfortable and are my go-to loungewear staples. I also love the bras and panties with the intricate Italian lace detailing. And the fits are amazing.”
